Right now I'd rather be...

Once again I could use a teleport. Maybe it's the sugar from the two bowls of frosted flakes (or the excitement about Jeff Goldblum's new show) but this girl is feeling a bit antsy. Could I just turn into a little boy for a few hours and say... wonder the streets of Paris with my lovely red balloon?

If lovin Jeff Goldblum is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

So here's the thing. For quite some time I have had a celebrity crush on Mr. Jeff Goldblum. It all started with Independence Day. Watching him care about the enviornment in his wifebeater, tortishell glasses and scrappy/"muscular" arms was just too much for then preteen Elizabeth to handle. Now this crush has blossomed into full blown embarrassment but I continue to stay loyal to The Blum. So much so that when I found out he will soon be staring on one of the many versions of Law and Order I seriosly threw my cat up in the air out of excitement. She's ok, just a little startled, but both Lulu (the cat) and I will be huluing the shit out of this show.

I get out (with a little help from my friends)

I made it to the Tara Donovan exhibit at the CAC. These floating cups were at the entrance. It felt like an igloo in the middle of the city.

The building looks so pretty at night.

I couldn't wait to find out how this was installed! It looks so delicate but is really quite strong. Got a "kick" out of an older women who kept tapping it with her foot. I can just see the headline, "Artwork destructed by 74 year old grandmother who just wanted a cup for the drinking fountain."

Feathered Dinosaurs

The museum has a wonderful new exhibit on feathered dinosaurs! It's been so much fun to sneak downstairs at work and look around whenever I need a break. Right now I'm writing a scavenger hunt on these odd and beautiful creatures. My favorite is the Gigantoraptor.

Love and Lobster

Chocolate and lobster will woo. These lovely little packages arrived in the mail! Homemade chocolate from Chatham Candy Manor, complete with two cherry flavored lobsters. The best valentines day gift would be to smell this little shop in Cape Cod right now. Teleport anyone?

Aerostat Reveillon

My head drifts, connecting dots on the ceiling with stars. Counting hair follicles and fancy shoe collections. I sigh heavily then, and suck in. Holding the breath through to a new age. Expecting a change in molecules, but I'm here. Again and still and forever. Floating unfinished.
