That darn cat
Lulu (the blur of fur) flying in for a calculated attack on my iBook. She's quite jealous of any electronic devise that takes attention away from her.

The Bunny Hop
Origami bunnies we made for easter, now hanging from tree branches! You can add little cotton balls on their backsides for tails.

Big Jugs
After saving over 25 milk jugs, which led to plenty of comments about my "jugs" with the ladies at work, I finally had enough for our bird lanterns! They turned out sooo cute!

Drawings of Dido
I've been catching up on some old favorites from my childhood. Joan Aiken's Wolves of Willoughby Chase series is my current obsession. The newer editions have beautiful covers done by Edward Gorey. His style matches the stories perfectly.

Blowfish Birthdays
We took my little sister to the aquarium for her birthday (and by little I mean she's now 28 years old). The highlight was petting the sharks, we decided stingray petting is for pansies. They also had an octopus and giant Japanese spider crabs that were 12 feet long! Here are my two favorite fishies.

Origami Branches
Delicate origami hanging from woven branches at Krohn Conservative. They cast moving shadows on the floor (with a little help from the sun).

Puppy Love
The newest edition to our animal crazed life. Found her along the side of the highway and we've been nursing her back to health. She needs a very pricey surgery and a forever home but we're working hard on getting her both.

Flea Market Find
Tiny microscope nestled in nicely on my dresser. When I was a kid I had the same one in orange; used for examining cat whiskers and sea monkeys.

My new iphone case, designed by artist Marco Cibola (and a few other images of his thrown in for good measure).

They're Incorrigible!
The sequel to one of my favorite children's books is finally out! It's the story of three wolflike children with fantastic names; Alexander, Beowulf, and Cassiopeia, being raised by their delightful governess, Miss Penelope Lumley (think Jane Eyre).

The Art of Sailing...

Putting the finishing touches on our Valentine's Day programming. This year it's a nautical theme with sailors valentines, scrimshaw pendants and love knots (a quick lesson on seamen knot tying with pink rope, of course). I have plenty of little octagon boxes just waiting to be turned into seashell covered valentines!
